- Operate CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines including Mori, HAAS, Hurco, and Brother equipment
- Set up and run 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines in a mid-to-high volume production environment
- Monitor machine performance and keep equipment running efficiently during the shift
- Edit and adjust CNC programs using G & M code both online and offline as needed
- Maintain tight machining tolerances of ± .001
- Troubleshoot machining issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Work collaboratively with programmers and machinists by documenting program edits and inserting clear comments in programs
- Assist with training and mentoring other operators or team members when needed
- Maintain quality standards and follow shop safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 5–10 years of experience as a CNC mill/lathe machinist or CNC operator
- Experience working in a mid to high volume repetitive manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of CNC machine processes, controllers, and G & M code
- Ability to edit CNC programs and make adjustments to improve machining performance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to hold tight tolerances
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
