We are currently seeking Brake Press Operators!
Starting pay: $22.00/h - $25.00/h
Job May Include:
- Setting up and operating brake press machinery to bend and form materials to specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
- Selecting proper tooling and making machine adjustments for each job
- Loading, positioning, and securing materials
- Inspecting completed parts for accuracy and quality
- Using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers
- Performing basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Tasks appointed by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of brake press operating experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Possess and be proficient with basic hand tools
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Must be reliable, communicate effectively, and be able to take direction
