We have immediate openings and are looking for an experienced Machine Builder Lead / Supervisor who is ready to step into a leadership role, oversee projects, and help drive quality and productivity on the shop floor.
Starting pay: $30.00/h – $40.00/h (based on experience)
Job Details:
- Lead and supervise machine builders on the shop floor
- Oversee the assembly, installation, and debugging of custom machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Coordinate daily work assignments and project priorities
- Ensure builds meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- Communicate progress, issues, and solutions with management and engineering
- Enforce safety standards and best practices
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in machine building or industrial assembly
- Previous lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems)
- Ability to read and interpret complex prints and documentation
- Possess basic hand and power tools
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of shop and jobsite safety
- Reliable, organized, and able to lead by example
