As a Territory Manager, you’ll spend your time building relationships with clients, driving business development, and ensuring client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting current and prospective clients at job sites to understand their needs.
- Conducting worksite evaluations to match skilled tradespeople with client requirements.
- Prospecting leads through cold calling and social networking.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for your territory, working closely with your team on worker retention, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Setting and achieving financial targets for your territory.
- Work ethic: A strong drive to meet goals and make a difference.
- Initiative: Willingness to make 100+ field and outbound touches weekly.
- Sales skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability: Self-motivation and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Tech-savviness: Proficiency in Gmail, Excel, and CRM software.
- Relationship building: Ability to expand and maintain connections with clients and industry professionals to gain referrals and new business.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree (preferred but not required).
- 1+ year of sales experience (required).
- Experience in staffing, construction, or industrial sales (a plus).
