Equipment Operator / Construction Labor $25-$40/hr. - Brookfield, WI

CDL-A License preferred.

Great Lakes Skilled Trades has immediate openings for Equipment Operators for local Commercial Projects in the Brookfield Area. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, load and unload frequently heavy materials, and follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. If you are reliable, and a hard worker you will thrive in this role and gain valuable trade experience!

An Equipment Operator will operate various pieces of equipment such as JLG Lift, Trencher, Excavator, and Backhoe. Equipment is used to excavate, grade, move dirt, gravel or other materials

Qualifications:

Operate and care for construction equipment and machines

Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards

Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding

Remove, fill, or compact earth

Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.

Perform site clean-up

Skills:

Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks

Ability to work in all weather

Must have experience in the construction industry
