Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong commitment to restoring properties affected by water, fire, or other damages. This position involves working with various tools and techniques to clean, restore, and rebuild structures while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess damage to properties and determine the appropriate restoration methods.
• Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Conduct fire restoration activities, including smoke removal and structural cleaning.
• Execute asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various restoration projects.
• Clean carpets and upholstery using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each job.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Skills

• Proven experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with fire restoration processes and asbestos abatement practices is a plus.
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for restoration tasks.
• Excellent cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations on-site.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
